INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL BENEFIT

1. Medical Benefits

Medical Reimbursement of reasonable and customary medical expenses for treatment of accidental injury or sickness commenced during an insured journey,

Medical Expenses Incurred for Continuation of Medical Treatment in Malaysia within 30 days upon return from overseas can also be reimbursed up to a maximum of RM15,000 and subject to the Medical Reimbursement limit,

Daily Hospital Income of RM350 a day (up to a maximum of 20 days) is provided upon admission to a hospital for continuous 24 hours due to accidental injury or sickness during a journey,

2. Emergency Medical Benefits

Contact AIAS for Medical Assistance Referral & Services if you are injured or ill stricken,

AIAS will arrange for Emergency Medical Evacuation and Repatriation upon medical necessity,


3. Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefits

Serious accidental losses sustained during a journey including Dismemberment, Permanent Total Disability or Loss of Life are covered,

4. Staff Replacement Expenses

provides a round-journey transport ticket and reasonable additional hotel accommodation expenses for a replacement employee if you are hospitalized or repatriated during a journey to ensure your mission is not interrupted,

5. Travel Inconvenience Benefits

Journey Cancellation Benefit reimburses you the loss of travel fare and/or accommodation expenses upon cancellation of journey made within 30 days before the journey commences due to:

a)death or serious injuries/illness of you, your immediate family member or your close business partner

b)serious damage to your residence by natural disasters within a week of departure,

c)you are called for witness summons, jury service or compulsory quarantine

d)sudden outbreak of riot, strike or civil unrest at your planned destination

Journey Curtailment Benefit reimburses you the unused and non-refundable part of a curtailed journey in proportion to the non-used days if you are being hijacked: you require medical evacuation or are hospitalized, Your immediate family member sustains serious accidental injury or sickness or even dies.

Travel Delay Benefit provides RM200 for each full 6 consecutive hours delay of the common carrier you have arranged to travel, due to inclement weather, equipment failure, strike or hijack.
